iCarly is back and with a whole new look! It’s been years since fans fell in love with Carly Shay in the original show, and this reboot proves that Carly is all grown up. Paramount+ reached out to create concepts for the new key art for upcoming season 3. Our big focus was to this key art hint at the big theme for the upcoming season; Carly and Freddy’s budding romance. OG fans know lifelong friends Carly and Freddie have always been there for each other, but there was always been some sparks between them. I wrote a concept titled “Brunching with Besties,” a fun and high energy concept where the cast is out enjoying brunch (maybe some mimosas) but chaos ensues. Carly and Freddie are front and center, looking into each other’s eyes and holding hands. It’s a fun way to pay homage to the chaos of the original show, and get fans excited for what’s to come.
