With post season just around the corner, ESPN came to us to create a promo spot for the Wildcard that made fans pumped and eager to watch their favorite teams battle it out to get to the playoffs. I wrote the script for our :30 spot; choosing to focus on creating a balance between the feeling of a team’s season hanging on by a thread and the unpredictability of baseball. This approach allowed for our edit to highlight big moments throughout the season and create a hopeful message.
